The Internet viewer who is looking for travel information wants to be able to see what the accommodations look like. Not just the property and the amenities, but also photos of the actual units that are available and and their specific amenities.
Resort properties that are individually owned condominiums and furnished by the individual owners are particularly in need of an affordable way to show the perspective guest what their unit has to offer.
The rental department budget generally does not allow the funds to display each unit on the resorts' website. At best, they will try to show what a "typical unit" looks like. Unfortunately, the perspective guest will generally look elsewhere.
Most reservations programs show thumbnail photos of the units and some will allow the viewer to click to enlarge the photo, but they are never shown in an enhanced way to encourage the perspective guest to get excited. Much less, in a manner that the unit owner would want the guest to see them and promote the various appointments of their unit.
We have developed an affordable way for a unit owner to have its own web page shown on the resorts' website. The web page not only shows the photos in an inviting manner, but lists all the special features of that particular unit. The unit owner pays an annual fee for the web page shown on the resort property's website. The rental office staff spends less time trying to describe what each unit looks like (or worse yet, trying to send huge photo files via e-mail) and receives increased rental bookings.
